Samsung Beat DJ

Crystal Clear display:
The Samsung Beat DJ is a stunning 3G handset with a high colour display. It's front is adorned with a beautiful colour touchscreen 2.8 inches in size. This AMOLED capacitive touchscreen has a crystal clear display and is capable of displaying an amazing 16M colours. It is very user friendly and is equipped with the Accelerometer sensor feature which makes operating this mobile phone a breeze. It provides a high colour resolution of 240 x 400 pixels.

The Beat DJ has very classy looks and definitely stands out in a crowd. It has an curved edges on both sides which give it a very different style as compared to other mobile phones. It is quite compact and can easily fit one's pocket with dimensions of 112 x 51 x 13.9 mm. The user doesn't have to worry about the weight also since it weighs just 99.7 grams, thus making it considerably very light when you take into view the number of features installed on it.

Music on the Go: The Beat DJ as one can see from its name is primarily a music phone with loads of in-built music features for the user's delight. It comes with touchscreen music controls which are easy to operate such as a touchscreen feature that allows the user to "scratch" songs like a DJ. The Samsung Beat DJ comes with the Bang and Olufsen audio technology and integrated stereo sound speakers for a beautifully clear listening experience & the user can adjust the amplifier & volume controls for an optimum listening experience. The music player supports various formats like MP3, WMA, AAC, AAC+, etc. A built-in radio feature allows the user to listen to his favourite stations while on the move.

Data transmission and other connectivity features:
Equipped with both GPRS and EDGE technology, data transfer of files is easy and very fast with other compatible devices. Both the USB port and the Bluetooth connection are available with the Beat DJ. The user can choose his connectivity option and transfer data with other compatible devices like the printer, PC, laptop or another mobile. The Samsung Beat DJ supports 3G HSPDA technology which allows the user to enjoy high speed Internet connectivity. It works on a Quad-band 2G network ( GSM 850, GSM 900, GSM 1800, GSM 1900 ) and dual band 3G HSPDA network ( HSDPA 900 & HSDPA 2100 ). The user enjoys worldwide connectivity that is he can travel anywhere in the world and use his mobile.

High resolution Digital camera:
The Samsung Beat DJ comes with an integrated three megapixel camera feature which provides crystal clear images at a high colour resolution of 2048x1536 pixels. It comes packed with all the digital camera features like Auto-focus so that the user can capture clear focussed shots. The LED Flash option helps light up the dark and dull areas so that the user can capture in clear light. The Red-Eye reduction feature helps avoid the unwanted red eyes in the photo. The smile detection feature helps the user home on to the face to get a better shot and the image stabiliser feature cancels out the hand movements of the user while taking the picture.The Beat DJ supports video recording at up to 15 fps. The built in A GPS navigation feature has a picture geo tagging feature which allows the user to locate exactly where their pictures were taken. The secondary camera at the front can be used to indulge in interactive 3G video-calls.

Memory and Games:
The internal memory is a comfortable 50 MB which ca be used to store messages, songs, pictures etc. The phonebook can store upto a thousand contacts. If the user wishes to increase his memory space, he can expand it upto an immense 16 GB wherein he can store loads of songs, videos, pictures, even movies.
The Samsung Beat DJ is a JAVA enabled phone which has its share of in-built games plus the facility of downloading more games from the Internet.

It comes with a standard Li-Ion 960 mAh battery which when fully charged is capable of delivering a standby time of upto 400 hours(2G)/ 300 hours(3G) and a talktime of 7 hours(2G)/ 4.5 hours(3G).
